New Kia Carens

Kia has unveiled the second-generation Carens MPV which goes on sale in the autumn.
The new model is significantly larger and is available in both five- and seven-seat configurations. It is approximately 50 mm longer, wider and taller, but with a wheelbase up by 130 mm for more interior space. The fuel tank has been repositioned, lowering the rear cabin floor by 40 mm, so that the third row of seats will accommodate two 1.8 metre adults in comfort.
There will be two engines: 2.0 diesel with 138 bhp and 2.0 petrol with 142 bhp and the choice of manual or four-speed automatic transmissions.
